Privacy Policy

Ant Technologies Inc. ("we", "us") operates the Ant Technologies platform and per-client branded sub-instances. This policy describes what we collect, why, and how it's used.

1. What we collect

• Account data. Name, email, phone (when verification is required), business name, branded-domain choice.
• Visitor analytics. Page views, referrers, IP, user-agent — captured in standard nginx access logs for traffic analytics and abuse mitigation. Retained 14 days.
• Chatbot interactions. Communications with our chatbots, processed to deliver the service. Deletion available on request.
• Operational data. Stripe subscription state, instance configuration, brand assets, knowledge-base content authored by the customer.

2. Third-party AI providers

Chatbot inference uses Anthropic (Claude language models) and OpenAI (text embedding for knowledge-base retrieval). When a visitor sends a question, the question text plus relevant knowledge-base context is transmitted to one or both providers under their respective data-processing terms:

We do not allow these providers to use chatbot conversations for model training, where that opt-out is offered.

3. How we use the data

• To operate the chatbot and platform features the customer signed up for.
• To bill, refund, and account for subscription usage.
• To detect and prevent abuse (rate-limit enforcement, fraud detection).
• To improve the product (aggregated, de-identified usage patterns).

We do not sell personal data, and do not use chatbot conversations to target advertising.

4. Cookies

The marketing site sets a small set of cookies for session continuity and basic analytics. Branded sub-instances may set additional cookies set by the customer's own deployment — see that customer's privacy policy for details.

5. Your rights

To request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal data, email jd@appofamerica.com with "Privacy request" in the subject. We respond within 30 days. For EU/UK residents, GDPR rights apply; for California residents, CCPA rights apply.

6. Data location and retention

The platform is hosted in the United States. Access logs are retained 14 days. Chatbot conversations are retained for the lifetime of the customer's instance unless the customer requests deletion. Backups are retained 90 days.

7. Children

The platform is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has interacted with the platform, contact us and we will delete the data.

8. Changes

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in our practices or in law. Material changes will be announced via email to active customers; the "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
